Spotlight Filter: Show Only Active Category & Update Page Titles Dynamically
Currently, the spotlight filter works on an OR basis, where selecting multiple categories displays products from any of the selected categories. However, we want the spotlight filter to behave such that when a category is clicked, it only displays products from that active category, without including items from previously selected categories. This would effectively reset the category filter with each selection.
We also need the page’s dynamic title and archive description to update based on the selected category, just as it does in the sidebar filters widget(check the video again for refreshment). This is essential for us to ensure the page reflects the category being viewed.
