Hello Jack, Many thanks for getting back to me, I think I don't explained the problem the right way, so you don't understood it. My English is not that good sorry, I will try my best to explain better : I have a parent product, let say a Shirt who exist in 3 sizes (S/M/L) and 3 colors (Withe/Red/Blue). I need variation gallery for each color, (but not for each size). So when I create my variations, I have 9 Variation created : Withe : S Withe : M Withe L Red: S Red: M Red: L Blue: S Blue: M Blue: L That's OK but, the issue is I have to add the variation gallery 3 times (S/M/L) for each color of each variable product. If I don't, it didn't work. The partial solution would be to add a variation with only one attribute (Withe/Red/Blue) and NO SIZE, but if I dot that the product will always show as “in stock” even if some sizes or/and colors are out of stock. Thats why i told It would be great if we can share the variation gallery between all the variations of the same parent product WHO SHARE A COMMON DEFINED ATTRIBUTE (In my case, color). I hope i will be more clear, Manny thanks Kind regards, Drift
Hello @DRIFT, Thanks for better explanations - they are much better written for understanding from our side ! As you know we implement most-popular requests first so in your case we need to understand if this request is needed for non only one our client. Hope you understand our position :) If we need any deeper details in futher about this request before starting implementation we can write few more questions here, to know your thoughts or ideas about some things. Kind regards, Jack Richardson
Hello @DRIFT, Thanks for writing us ! Variation gallery feature was created for those cases when some product variation needs to have own images. In case all your variable products variations don't need extra unique galleries then you may simply disable the option in Theme Options. Also it is vital to mention that each variation inherits its gallery from parent product by default so there are no sence in setting each variation gallery same as parent if you want them to be same. Kind regards, Jack Richardson
