Include linking to category pages in menu item list

When creating an Xstore menu list, as we did in a static block as part of the mega menu, the menu list items can only hard-link to pages/posts/products, etc, and also to category pages. We use Weglot as a translation plugin, but many have the same 'issue', where the language chosen is part of the URL ( /en/ ). In our case, the link always navigates from the root, and by doing so, in essence 'resetting' the language. Since our native and default language is Dutch, our English visitors constantly need to reset the language after visiting a category page.

Hello @Bas Kling Thank you for posting us an issue. I will send this to our team devs to check and they will try to fix it in our updates. How would you see it's fixing ? when your url contains /en/ but you are on another lang then it should replace before output the link on frontend or maybe you have another thought about the solution ? I would imagine that including the same options in Menu Item list setting as they currently exist in Appearance - Menu's, allowing the user to select a category from a dropdown list instead of having to type in a slug/hard link

For us, it's more the other way around. When in English mode, the url is: /category page However, it should direct to: /en/category page. I just can't hardlink it, because when in Dutch mode, the link should in fact be: /category page. There's just no way to resolve this using links, it should link to an object, or whatever Xstore uses to link to category pages, same as with Appearance/menus/category pages
